RV Technical Institute Publishes 2024 Annual Report

The RV Technical Institute’s 2024 Annual Report outlines its progress in strengthening its training program and growing the pool of trained RV service technicians.

To achieve this, the Institute focused on multiple initiatives. One major endeavor was the Institute’s continued partnerships with schools across the country, such as high schools and vocational schools.

Aiming to expand its reach and provide RV technician training within academic settings, the RV Technical Institute attended conferences like the American School Counselors Association Conference and the Future Farmers of America Convention to educate students and school administrators about career opportunities as an RV service technician. The RV Technical Institute also launched a partnership with Navarro College— the first community college to incorporate the Institute’s Level 1 technician training program into its curriculum.

Additionally, the RV Technical Institute has continued its campaign to increase the number of women service technicians. The Institute was excited to partner again with the RV Women’s Alliance to host all-women’s training courses. These popular classes have held sessions across the country, ultimately encouraging more women to become certified RV service technicians.

A final effort by the Institute to continue elevating its program and training more technicians was the introduction of five Level 3 workshops. This initiative was designed to make it easier for technicians to obtain all the training necessary for Level 3 specialty certifications and, potentially, become Level 4 Master Technicians. Each workshop focused on one of the five specialty areas.

These efforts have certainly paid off. By the end of 2024, 6,729 technicians had become certified by the RV Technical Institute. Additionally, there are now 997 dealerships with at least one Institute-certified technician on staff.  These achievements meant there was much to celebrate in 2024, including the Institute’s five-year anniversary!

The RV Technical Institute remains dedicated to expanding its training programs, ensuring more RVers can swiftly return to their adventures.
